Website Redesign Services for Sites That Have Stopped Pulling Their Weight

We redesign and rebuild business websites so they look like the company you are now, load fast on a phone and turn visitors into enquiries, without throwing away the search traffic you already have.

A good fit if

  • The site looks older than the business it represents
  • Traffic arrives but the enquiry form stays quiet
  • Every small change needs a developer and a week
  • You are worried a redesign will cost you your Google rankings

A redesign should fix a business problem, not just change the colours. We start with what the current site gets wrong and what it gets right, then keep the second while we replace the first.

Services

What our website redesign services cover

Design, copy structure, build and SEO done by one team, so no handover gap swallows the details.

  • Audit of the current site

Analytics, Search Console, speed scores and a page-by-page review, so we know which pages earn traffic and leads before anything is touched.

  • Structure and messaging

Navigation, page hierarchy and the order of each page reworked around what buyers ask first, with headings that say what you do in plain words.

  • Visual design and brand refresh

A new design system in Figma, from type and colour to components, built on your existing brand or alongside a refresh of it.

  • Rebuild on a faster platform

We usually rebuild on Next.js with a headless CMS, so the new site is fast, secure and easy for your team to edit.

  • Conversion paths

Clear calls to action, shorter forms, click-to-call on mobile, booking or quote flows where they fit, and tracking so you can see which pages produce enquiries.

  • SEO-safe launch

Every URL mapped and redirected, metadata carried across, and Search Console watched after launch so the traffic you had comes with you.

Signs

When a website redesign is worth it, and when a refresh will do

Not every tired site needs to be torn down. Some need new paint, some need new foundations.

  • Slow on a phone

If pages take several seconds to show anything on mobile, a new theme will not fix it. That is a rebuild problem, not a design one.

  • Built for the business you used to be

New services, a new market or a move upmarket that the site does not show. Visitors judge the company by the site in seconds.

  • Traffic without enquiries

Visitors arrive and leave. Usually the offer is unclear, the next step is hidden or the form asks for too much.

  • Cannot edit without a developer

If changing a price or adding a page means raising a ticket, the site is slowing the business down.

  • When a refresh is enough

If the site is fast, ranks well and converts, but looks dated, new visuals and copy on the same structure may be all it needs. We will say so.

SEO

How to redesign a website without losing SEO

Redesigns lose rankings for boring reasons. We handle the boring reasons first.

  • Keep the URLs that earn traffic

Pages that rank keep their address where possible. Where a URL has to change, a permanent 301 redirect points straight to the new page, with no chains.

  • Keep the content that ranks

A redesign is not a reason to cut the paragraphs Google rewards. We restyle and tighten them instead of deleting them.

  • Carry metadata and schema across

Titles, descriptions, canonical tags, structured data and image alt text moved page by page, then compared against the old site before launch.

  • Block the staging site

The new site is built on a private staging address that search engines cannot index, so there is never a duplicate copy competing with you.

  • Watch after launch

Sitemap submitted, crawl errors and 404s checked, rankings and traffic compared with the old site in the weeks after go-live.

How it runs

Our website redesign process, step by step

  1. 01

    Audit and goals

What the site must do for the business, what the data says it does today, and the pages that must be protected.

  2. 02

    Structure and design

Sitemap, wireframes for key pages, then a design system and full page designs you review in Figma.

  3. 03

    Build and migrate

Built on a private staging site with weekly preview links, content moved across and every redirect mapped.

  4. 04

    Launch and measure

Redirects tested, tracking live, Search Console watched, and a report comparing the new site with the old one.

Cost

How much does a website redesign cost?

There is no honest average for a website redesign, because a ten-page refresh and a full rebuild with new content are different projects. These are the things that set the price. Tell us about your site and we will come back with a fixed quote.

What moves the priceWhy
Refresh or full rebuildNew visuals on the existing platform is a smaller job than a new design, new structure and a new platform together.
Number of unique templatesFifty pages built from four templates cost far less than fifty pages that each need their own layout.
Content: reused or rewrittenRestyling existing copy is quicker than rewriting it. New copy for key pages is often worth it and is scoped as its own line.
Platform changeStaying on your current CMS avoids a content move. Moving to Next.js and a headless CMS adds migration work and removes plugin upkeep for good.
Features and integrationsBooking, quote forms, multi-language, search or CRM connections each add design, build and testing time.
Brand workRedesigning inside your current brand is quicker than refreshing the logo, colours and type first.

FAQ

Website redesign services: your questions

It depends on whether you need a refresh or a full rebuild, how many unique page templates the site has, whether content is reused or rewritten, whether the platform changes, and which features such as bookings, quote forms or multi-language are involved. A visual refresh of a small brochure site and a full rebuild of a large site with new content are very different projects, which is why online averages are rarely useful. We review your current site, scope the work on a short call and send a fixed quote.

A focused redesign of a business website typically takes four to eight weeks from audit to launch. Larger sites, a platform change, new copy for every page or features such as booking and multi-language add time. The slowest part is rarely design or code. It is gathering content, getting decisions made and signing off pages. We agree the scope and the content owners at the start, share preview links every week, and give you a launch date with the quote so you can plan around it.

It can, if URLs change without redirects, ranking content is cut, or metadata is lost. Handled properly, it should not. We crawl the old site first, keep the URLs that earn traffic, set permanent redirects for the ones that must change, carry titles, descriptions and structured data across, and keep the staging site out of Google. After launch we watch Search Console and fix crawl errors quickly. A faster, clearer site often ranks better than the one it replaced, though nobody can promise a ranking.

There is no fixed schedule. Redesign when the site stops matching the business, falls behind on speed and mobile use, or stops turning visitors into enquiries. Many businesses reach that point every few years, but a site built on a solid design system can be improved page by page for much longer without a full redesign. We would rather make regular, measured improvements than tear the whole thing down every time the market shifts. A yearly review of data and design keeps the decision honest.

A refresh changes how the site looks: colours, type, imagery, spacing and some copy, usually on the same structure and platform. A redesign goes deeper and reworks the structure, navigation, page layouts and conversion paths, and often the platform underneath. A refresh suits a site that is fast, ranks and converts, but looks dated. A redesign suits a site that is slow, hard to edit, or not producing enquiries. We look at your data before recommending either, and say which one we think you need.

Our redesigns include an audit of the current site, a new sitemap and page structure, wireframes for key pages, a design system and full page designs in Figma, the build on a staging site, content migration, a redirect map for every changed URL, metadata and structured data, analytics and conversion tracking, and a monitored launch. You can add copywriting, brand refresh work or ongoing support. You own the design files, the code and every account at the end, with no lock-in to us.

Our work page shows live sites we have designed and built, including Lusavière, a luxury unisex salon in Mayfair, London, with a booking bar; Solvane, a luxury real estate villa site with a portfolio index and private viewings; and Ambica, a heavy transport and construction logistics site with quote requests and a language switcher. Each one is live, not a mockup, and clicking through them on your own phone tells you more than any screenshot can.

No. If your current CMS is fast enough and your team is happy with it, we can redesign on it. We recommend a move, usually to Next.js with a headless CMS, when the old platform is the cause of the problems: slow pages, plugin conflicts, security worries or a theme that fights every design change. A platform change adds migration work, so we only suggest it when it pays for itself. Either way, every URL is mapped and protected before launch.

Yes, and most redesigns do. We take your logo, colours and type as the starting point and build a design system that uses them more consistently across every page, component and state. If the brand itself feels tired, we can refresh it first, adjusting the palette, type and logo details rather than starting again from nothing. Brand and UI design are done by the same team that builds the site, so nothing gets lost between the brand guidelines and the live pages.

Access to analytics and Google Search Console, so we can see which pages bring traffic and enquiries. Admin access to the current site or its hosting. Your brand files, if you have them. A short list of sites you admire and why, and a list of what annoys you about the current one. Most important, one person who can make decisions and sign off pages. Send us your site address and we will reply within one business day with a few first observations.
