Overview

A good app earns a place on the home screen.

We design and build native and cross-platform apps with the same senior team that handles your backend and cloud, so the product ships faster and runs reliably from day one.

Who this is for

Sound familiar?

  • You have a validated idea and need it shipped, not prototyped again

  • An existing app has stalled and nobody wants to touch the codebase

  • Your web product needs a mobile surface that is not just a wrapper

What we actually do.

Four ways in

  1. iOS and Android apps

Apps on both stores, built to look and feel right on each platform.

  2. Cross-platform apps

One React Native or Flutter codebase for both stores, for a fraction of the cost.

  3. App backend and APIs

The logins, payments, notifications and data your app runs on.

  4. App Store and Play Store launch

Submission, review, crash reporting and the updates that come after launch.

Capabilities

Everything this covers.

14 capabilities

Ask for one of these or all of them. It is the same team either way.

  • iOS app development
  • Android app development
  • React Native and Flutter apps
  • Progressive web apps
  • MVP builds for startups
  • Backend APIs and authentication
  • Push notifications
  • In-app payments and subscriptions
  • Offline sync
  • Maps and location features
  • App Store and Play Store submission
  • App redesign and rescue
  • Release automation
  • App maintenance and updates

Not seeing the exact thing you need under App Development? It is almost certainly still us. Tell us the problem and we will say plainly whether it is ours to solve.

How it runs

Four steps. No mystery.

Every step has an owner and a date. You always know which one we are on, and what has to be true before the next one starts.

  1. Define and prototype

The core flows, clickable and testable, before production code exists. Cheapest possible place to be wrong.

  2. Backend and data

APIs, auth and the data model built first, so the app is never blocked waiting on something underneath it.

  3. Build and test

Cross platform or native depending on what the product genuinely needs, on real devices rather than only the simulator.

  4. Release and monitor

Store submission, review compliance, crash reporting and analytics wired up from the first build users see.

Deliverables

What lands in your hands.

Yours at the end of the engagement, whether we carry on together or not. Nothing here is held hostage.

Handover6 items
  • iOS and Android builds

    App binaries

Signed, store-ready builds for both platforms from one codebase, unless the product genuinely needs native.

  • Backend API, auth and data model

    Git repo

The server side the app runs on: accounts, permissions and a data model built to grow rather than be replaced.

  • Store listings submitted

    Live listings

Screenshots, descriptions, privacy declarations and the review process handled, not handed to you as a checklist.

  • Automated build and release pipeline

    Fastlane setup

A new version ships without anyone manually building, signing and uploading it at eleven at night.

  • Crash reporting and product analytics

    Dashboards

You see crashes before a review mentions them, and which screens people actually use.

  • Source code and release documentation

    Repo + runbook

The repository plus how to build, sign and ship it, so you are never locked to us.

  • React Native
  • Flutter
  • Expo
  • TypeScript
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • Firebase
  • Fastlane

Outcomes, not activity.

What you get

  • 01

An app live on both app stores

  • 02

One codebase covering iOS and Android

  • 03

Crash reports and usage data you can act on

  • 04

Updates that ship without breaking things

Working with us

Four things you can hold us to.

  • 01

A real reply within one business day

From a person who read your brief, not a ticket queue.

  • 02

The people on the call build it

No account manager relaying messages in between.

  • 03

Tracked from first click to booked call

Every enquiry traced to the page and search that brought it.

  • 04

No hostage code. It is all yours.

Code, domain and accounts in your name. Take it in house whenever you want.

FAQ

App Development questions.

It depends on your performance needs and budget. We help you decide, and often cross-platform delivers native-quality UX at lower cost and faster time to market.

Yes. We audit the codebase, stabilise it, then continue the roadmap or plan a clean migration.

Yes, including release engineering, store listings, review compliance and post-launch monitoring.

A focused MVP, meaning one core job done well with sign-in and the backend it needs, typically takes eight to twelve weeks from scope to a release real users can install. What stretches it is scope, not code: every extra role, integration or payment flow adds time. We cut the first version down to what proves the idea, then build the rest once usage tells you what matters.

Both build one app for iOS and Android, and both are production ready. React Native fits teams already on React and JavaScript, and shares logic with a Next.js web app. Flutter draws its own interface, which makes heavily custom, animated designs consistent across devices. We pick per project based on your web stack, design and who will maintain it, and explain the choice before any code is written.

An app is the widest range of anything we quote, because a focused single purpose app and a product with accounts, payments and offline sync are different orders of magnitude. What moves the number most is the backend and the number of distinct screens, not the platform. We scope both before quoting.

A first release of a focused app is usually eight to fourteen weeks including store review. Apple review is typically days rather than weeks now, but a rejection on a policy detail can add a cycle, so we build against the guidelines from the start rather than fixing them at submission.

Yes. In most cases we recommend one cross platform codebase with React Native or Flutter, because it delivers close to native quality for a fraction of the cost and keeps both platforms in step. We go native when the product genuinely depends on it, and we will tell you when that is the case.

Yes. Apps need maintenance whether or not you add features, because both platforms ship breaking OS and policy changes every year. We can hold a maintenance retainer, or set you up so an in house developer can take it on.
